On Sunday, May 10, Northside will collect a special offering to support Wesley Woods. For more than 50 years, United Methodist churches of the North Georgia Conference have collected a Mother’s Day Offering for Wesley Woods. This generous support funds financial assistance for meals and housing to residents who have been gifted long life but may have outlived their resources. The Mother’s Day Offering also supports on-site chaplains and an innovative wellness program. You can place your donation in the offering plate on Mother’s Day or visit our website and select “Wesley Woods” as the Fund.

In the state of Georgia, there are approximately 10,000 to 14,000 children in foster care. Many times, these children are suffering from emotional and physical abuse and neglect, children that have been moved into the Foster Care system to help them survive and thrive. Northside is partnering with Wellroot Family Services, formerly known as the United Methodist Children’s home. Each child will receive a backpack with supplies for their 2026–2027 school year. For more information, contact Rev. Angela House.
